Title IX Compliance
Title IX Compliance at Texas School for the Deaf
Title IX is a federal law that protects people from sex-based discrimination and harassment. In accordance with the 2020 Title IX Regulations, Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its educational programs, activities, or jobs. TSD does not allow sex discrimination, including but not limited to sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and gender-based harassment.
This policy covers everyone who works at, attends, or visits the school — including employees, student workers, students, parents, vendors, and anyone else who interacts with TSD.
If you experience sex discrimination or sexual violence by someone connected to the school or on school grounds, you have the right to file a complaint.
