A bit about myself.

I was born in Tucson, Arizona, and my educational journey began at the Arizona State School for the Deaf and Blind, where I attended from kindergarten through eighth grade. I then continued my education at the Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, D.C.

My passion for supporting others started early—I worked at a mental health facility for deaf individuals from age 3 to 19, which has been a truly meaningful experience. I'm a foodie at heart and love trying all kinds of cuisines, especially olives and mushrooms.

I'm a big sports fan! I cheer for Austin FC in Major League Soccer, love watching University of Texas football, and support my University of Arizona basketball team.

For the past six years, I've been working as an S.E.L. coach at a middle school. I truly enjoy being around students, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and eager to learn here at TSD.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family—my wife and our two kids, a daughter who's 15 and a son who's 14. I especially love watching my son's soccer games; he's a joy to watch! During the summer, we love traveling to visit family in Florida and Washington. I'm passionate about saltwater fishing, and I'm still learning the ropes of freshwater fishing here in Texas.

I'm a social butterfly—don't be shy to say hello! I'm fun, friendly, and enjoy meeting new people. Looking forward to connecting with you!
