Roxanne Martinez

All About Me

I am from the Rio Grande Valley, and my favorite color is purple. This is my fourth year teaching at the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD), and I have worked in education for 17 years. I enjoy being creative and design and make shirts and cups.

Education Background

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Deaf Rehabilitation from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). In addition, I completed a Master of Arts in School Leadership in Deaf Education (MaSLED) from Gallaudet University.

My Furbabies

I have three dogs who are an important part of my life. Their names are Milo, Benji, and Ruby.
