💜 All About Me

Hi! I’m from the Rio Grande Valley, and if you know me, you probably know that purple is my favorite color! 💜 This is my fifth year teaching at the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD), and I have been working in education for 18 years.

When I’m not teaching, I love getting creative! 🎨 I enjoy designing and making custom shirts, cups, and other fun creations. I’m always up for a new creative project!

🎓 Education Background

I love learning just as much as I love teaching! I earned my Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Deaf Rehabilitation from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV).

I continued my education at Gallaudet University, where I earned my Master of Arts in School Leadership in Deaf Education (MaSLED).

🐾 My Furbabies

My four dogs are a HUGE part of my life! 🐶❤️ They definitely keep me busy and entertained.

Meet my furbabies: Milo, Benji, Ruby, and Rex! 🐾

They each have their own personality, and yes… they are absolutely spoiled! 😊
