Hello there!

I hold a B.A. in Communication Arts and an M.A. in Deaf Education/ASL Specialist. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I have taught both English and ASL to a wide range of students.

After teaching seniors for the past few years, I’m excited to be teaching juniors this year! I look forward to another rewarding year filled with learning, growth, challenges, and plenty of memorable moments with a great group of students.

I’m also a proud graduate and alumna of Texas School for the Deaf, and I’m thrilled to be part of the amazing school community that played such an important role in my own journey.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy watching movies and TV shows, doing puzzles, and playing games with friends. One of my favorites is Carbles, which I also enjoy playing with my students whenever we get the opportunity!
