About Me

Roots & Heritage Born and raised in the heart of Texas, my story runs deep between the vibrant energy of Austin and the natural beauty of Beaumont’s Pine Island Bayou. A proud 1994 graduate of the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD), my lifelong connection to this campus and community shapes everything I do.

Current Role I am privileged to give back to the community that raised me, serving as a Middle School Paraprofessional at TSD. My core educational philosophy centers on strength-based growth: I strive to empower our students by focusing on and developing their best skill sets rather than dwelling on their challenges.

Passions & Interests

• Sports: Die-hard sports enthusiast, with a deep love for baseball.

• The Great Outdoors: Passionate about hunting as well as both freshwater and saltwater fishing across Texas waterways.

• Life Philosophy: Guided daily by the belief that "Failure is not falling down, failure is NOT getting up!"
