About Me
Hi there!
I’m Rantz Teeters, and I teach Middle School Physical Education and Health. This will be my 12th year of teaching, and I absolutely love what I do- helping students stay active, build confidence, and learn how to take care of their bodies and minds.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Gallaudet University. My goal is to make fitness fun and health education meaningful. Whether we’re playing individual/team sports, setting personal fitness goals, or talking about mental wellness, I want every student to feel included, capable, and motivated to live a healthy, balanced life.
Outside of school, I love fishing for largemouth bass from my kayak, especially on Lady Bird Lake, where I get to enjoy both the peace of the water and the view of the Austin skyline. I also cherish spending time with my wife, our son, and our pit mix dog- they’re my favorite crew to relax and recharge with.
I believe that strong collaboration between teachers and parents is key to student success- especially when it comes to health and wellness. If you ever have questions or want to connect about your child’s progress, please feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to work together!
