About Me!
I grew up in Bakersfield, California, where my father was a teacher for 39 years and education was always valued in our family. I was homeschooled for much of my schooling to accommodate my junior tennis career, which later led me to compete as a Division I athlete while studying Deaf Education at Fresno State University.
After earning my degree in Deaf Education, I taught in the classroom for six years before transitioning into the role of ARD Facilitator. My desire to better support teachers in understanding the unique needs of each student inspired me to return to school to become an Educational Diagnostician. I am now honored to serve in this role at the Texas School for the Deaf, where I work closely with educators to ensure every student’s strengths and challenges are recognized and supported.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active through tennis and pickleball. You can reach me at [email protected]
