Current Assessment Information
This file contains a list of assessments that we use to help our school and families monitor:
- student skills development
- academic growth and achievement
- impact on student learning
Some of these assessments are a part of our mandatory state reporting.
Most importantly, assessments are used to help teachers with instructional planning, principals and department supervisors with improving programming for all students, and district leaders in monitoring strategic goals.
The ASLA has been discontinued in favor of two other assessments for ASL:
- ASL RST (receptive skills test) and ASL EST (expressive skills test) both by Northern Signs Research.
Both Elementary and Middle Schools have also elected to use IRLA (Independent Reading Level Assessment) as an additional reading assessment to replace DRA.
