Exploring Electives

This year, our Middle School students will enjoy a wide variety of elective opportunities designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and help them discover new interests.

6th Grade: Students will participate in four 9-week rotations, giving them hands-on experience in Physical Education, STEM (VEX Robotics), Technology Applications (featuring Adobe, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and more), and Theatre Arts.

7th & 8th Grade: Students will take part in four electives this year. All students will begin with Career Exploration, a Career and Transition Education course where they will rotate through a range of introductory-level courses — each lasting 10 days — to explore different career pathways. In addition, they will have three electives of their choice: one in the fall and two in the spring.

During “elective orientation,” students will be introduced to all available courses before making their selections. Options include:

  • 7th Grade: Public Speaking, Video Production, Theatre Arts, Physical Education, STEM/VEX Robotics
  • 8th Grade: Debate, Adobe/Yearbook, Theatre Arts, Physical Education, STEM/VEX Robotics

We’re excited to see our students explore, create, and grow through these engaging and diverse learning experiences!
