The Family and Student Advocacy Services (FSAS) Department is hosting a special virtual presentation on Internet Safety for TSD Elementary and Middle School families on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 6:00–7:00 PM. This important session will address one of the most pressing concerns for parents today—how to recognize if your child is being groomed online. Families will have the chance to learn strategies, ask questions, and gain practical tools to better protect their children in digital spaces.
The featured presenter is Brian Casanova, TSD’s School Safety and Security Director, who brings over 15 years of experience from his service with the Austin Police Department. Having worked as both a Criminal Task Force Detective and an Intelligence Unit Sergeant, Mr. Casanova is committed to helping families understand the dangers of the internet and how to safeguard their children.
