Dear MS and HS Students and Parents,
TSD Student Life will continue to have a Pickleball Club and we are expanding to include Middle School students (in addition to High School Students). The Pickleball Club will be held Monday's beginning January 12, 2026 and shall continue throughout the spring semester.
Students in the PB Club will have the opportunity to participate in Wednesday PB Ladder League at TSD (optional). Any TSD student can join to learn the game of Pickleball!
TSD will select through a tryout process a middle school team and a high school team to attend the National Deaf Youth Pickleball Tournament at Gallaudet University in Washington DC during the weekend of March 12-15, 2026. This trip is dependent on fundraising efforts, parent contributions, to cover flight expenses, and player commitment, tryouts, etc.
The MS and HS TSD Pickleball Clubs will be led by Nick Bannon, Micheal Wynne, and one Student Life staff.

Estimados estudiantes y padres de secundaria y preparatoria,
El Departamento de Vida Estudiantil de TSD continuará ofreciendo el Club de Pickleball y lo ampliaremos para incluir a los estudiantes de secundaria (además de los de preparatoria). El Club de Pickleball se llevará a cabo los lunes a partir del 12 de enero de 2026 y continuará durante todo el semestre de primavera.

TSD seleccionará, mediante un proceso de selección, un equipo de secundaria y un equipo de preparatoria para participar en el Torneo Nacional Juvenil de Pickleball para Sordos en la Universidad Gallaudet en Washington D.C. durante el fin de semana del 12 al 15 de marzo de 2026. Este viaje depende de la recaudación de fondos, las contribuciones de los padres para cubrir los gastos de vuelo y el compromiso de los jugadores, las pruebas de selección, etc.
Los clubes de Pickleball de secundaria y preparatoria de TSD estarán dirigidos por Nick Bannon, Michael Wynne y un miembro del personal de Vida Estudiantil.
