Dear TSD Families,
We are writing to inform you of an upcoming adjustment to our transportation routing. TSD understands
that Hays CISD recently informed families that it will no longer be making transportation services
available to TSD students located in their district. To assist our families in the area, TSD is adjusting our
group stop locations to provide more transportation options to affected families.
Effective Monday, August 17, 2026, student pick-up and drop-off will transition to the following two
designated group stop locations:
• Group Stop 1:
Walmart Parking Lot
690 Old San Antonio Rd, Buda, TX 78610
• Group Stop 2:
Sunfield Sunbright Activity Center
1328 Sunbright Blvd, Buda, TX 78610
We will no longer utilize the meeting location at Cowboy Harley-Davidson (10917 S I-35 Frontage Rd,
Austin, TX 78747).
Important Guidelines Regarding Group Stops:
• Assigned Bus Stops: Once selected, your chosen group stop location will become your student's
official, assigned bus stop.
• No Alternating Locations: To ensure student safety, maintain accurate routing, and keep
schedules running efficiently, students cannot alternate between the two locations.
• Transportation Change Requests: If you need to request a change to your assigned group stop,
a formal Transportation Change Request must be submitted through the PowerSchool Parent
Portal 3 to 5 school days prior to the date the change needs to take effect.
We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and partnership as we navigate these changes together to
keep our transportation services seamless for your students.
