Hello Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to a new school year at TSD! We wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves. We are Victoria Flis, LPC, NCC, and Ashley O'Niell, LCSW, and we serve as the High School Tier 2 Counselors at Texas School for the Deaf.
As Tier 2 Counselors, we provide and coordinate a variety of supports and opportunities within the high school including:
- Short Term Check-Ins
- Small Lunch Group
- New Student Group
- PAL (Peer Assistance and Leadership)
- Pathway Club
- Social-emotional skills building and connection to additional school resources when needed.
We value communication with families and want you to know who you can reach out to if a need arises during the school year.
