Tech Girls Program

Hello Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2026–27 school year!

We’re excited to bring Tech Girls back again this year! We’re also excited to welcome Mizzy Roper, who will be co-leading the Tech Girls program with me this school year.

Our first Tech Girls meeting will be Monday, September 21, from 3:45–5:30 p.m. During this introductory meeting, students will have the opportunity to learn more about the program, register to participate, and help us plan some of the activities we’ll do throughout the school year. If you want to have a say in what Tech Girls looks like this year, we encourage you to come and share your ideas!

Tech Girls meets once a month after school from 3:45–5:30 p.m. and includes a variety of fun, hands-on STEM activities throughout the year. (A flyer with different possible examples is attached to this article.)

Registration is required to participate in Tech Girls. Students can register at our first meeting. If you are unable to attend but would still like to join, please stop by my classroom during advisory next week. I’ll be happy to help you register and answer any questions.

Students, I’ve also included a short video for you with more information about Tech Girls, our first meeting, and how you can get involved.

We hope you’ll join us, and we’re looking forward to another great year of Tech Girls!

Best,
April Cornish and Mizzy Roper
