Driver Education and Safety

Course Description

To provide students with a basic understanding of motor vehicle operations and safety. Each student will attend at least 56 hours of classroom instruction to pass learner's permit at DPS first before taking 7 hours of behind the wheel instruction, and 7 hours of behind the wheel observations. With the additional hours of 20 driving log must be submitted by parents. Completion of Driver Education course qualifies your student as a beginning driver.
