Welding

 

Students will build on the knowledge and skills related to a variety of welding equipment including gas metal arc welding, oxy-fuel cutting and welding, shielded metal arc welding and reading and following blueprint. Instruction methods include lecture, lab demonstration, group discussion and hands-on practice and special projects.

Prerequisite: Principles of Welding

Future Career Possibilities: Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, Welding Inspector, Custom Metal Worker, Construction Worker, and Shipyard Welder.
