The 84th Legislature is moving along. TSD will present its biennial budget request to the House Appropriations Committee (HAC) on Friday, February 20 at 10:00 am.
TSD will present its budget request for 2016-17 to the House Appropriations Committee on Friday. The school made three requests for funding above its base budget; the first was a request for additional staff to meet the needs of the students and programs offered at the school. The second was for two school buses and two vans to replace buses with over 200,000 miles and to replace 15 passenger vans, now considered unsafe, with two new 8 passenger vans. The third and final request is for funds to expand Career Pathways in Culinary Arts and Building Trades and Construction.
