Application
Texas School for the Deaf uses an online system called SchoolSpring (click here: https://tsd.schoolspring.com). You can use this system to apply for jobs and check your application status anytime. Criminal History Check
If you are selected for a job, you must complete a background check and fingerprinting. This is required by law. The information is used only to review criminal history and is handled according to federal and state equal employment laws.

Selective Service Requirement
Since September 1, 1999, Texas state agencies, including the Texas School for the Deaf, cannot hire males who are 18 to 25 years old unless they show proof of registration with the Selective Service System or proof that they are exempt from registration.
