Chef Cameron Garberoglio

Hi, my name is Chef Cameron Garberoglio, and I am excited to welcome you to Culinary Arts!

My love for food started at a young age while growing up in a close Italian family that enjoyed cooking and sharing meals together. Being in the kitchen helped me learn how food brings people together. I later turned this passion into a career and graduated from culinary school in 2005.

Since then, I have worked in many different food settings. I have run restaurants, worked in summer camp kitchens, been a personal chef, and owned a sausage-making business. From preparing fine dining meals to cooking for large groups early in the morning, I learned that cooking takes teamwork, respect, skill, and care.

As a Culinary Arts teacher, I share these real-world experiences with my students. We use the ProStart curriculum to give hands-on practice in knife skills, kitchen safety, cooking techniques, and hospitality. My goal is to help students succeed, whether they choose a career in cooking or want to build useful life skills.
