Greetings! This year marks my 29th year at Texas School for the Deaf, and what a journey it has been! Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in many roles from volunteer and intern to teacher, curriculum specialist, and now Academic Intervention Specialist. Working with middle school students is truly my passion, and my greatest joy is helping them grow, learn, and achieve their goals.

I grew up in Rochester, NY, and am a proud fourth-generation graduate of the Rochester School for the Deaf. My love for learning and leadership led me to earn my B.A. in Communication Arts from Gallaudet University, my M.S. in Deaf Education from McDaniel College, and complete a program certificate in principal education.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my three adult children, playing card and board games, enjoying the outdoors, and staying active through workouts. I’m also an avid reader, a member of a wonderful book club, and a big fan of puzzles.

I’m looking forward to a wonderful year ahead—getting to know your child(ren), celebrating their successes, and watching them grow into confident, capable young people.
