Mrs. Camille Albrecht

Dear Students, Families, and Staff,

My name is Camille Albrecht, and I am thrilled to join the 6–8 Secondary Programs team as the Assistant Principal. I am excited about this new chapter and look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff throughout the school year.

Education has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My journey as an educator actually began when I was a child in elementary school. I often found myself helping my classmates understand their work, and even then, I discovered how much I enjoyed supporting others in their learning.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach students from kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as at the college level. I spent 10 years teaching at Austin Community College and have been teaching high school English at TSD for more than 10 years. I also had the rewarding experience of homeschooling my two children, which gave me an even deeper appreciation for the individual needs, interests, and learning styles of students.

These experiences have shaped me as both an educator and a lifelong learner. They have strengthened my belief that every student has the ability to learn, grow, and discover their own potential when they are given the support and encouragement they need.

My theme for this year is Challenge, Growth, and Success. I believe challenges provide opportunities for growth, and growth leads us toward success. As I begin this new role with 6–8 Secondary Programs, I look forward to encouraging our students to challenge themselves, embrace opportunities to learn and grow, and recognize their accomplishments along the way. I am excited to work alongside our students, teachers, families, and staff to create a supportive environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and empowered to succeed. I am truly thrilled to continue serving the TSD community and look forward to a year filled with Challenge, Growth, and Success.

Please feel free to reach out to me via email or VP if you have any questions, concerns, or simply would like to connect. I value open communication and look forward to working together to support our students and make this a successful school year for everyone.

I am truly thrilled to be here and look forward to a year filled with Challenge, Growth, and Success!

Warmly,

Camille Albrecht
