As we approach Martin Luther King Jr. Day and February’s Black History Month, it’s an important time to reflect on the contributions and struggles of Black individuals throughout history. However, the importance of teaching Black history extends beyond these specific observances and should be a continuous effort throughout the year.

On January 10, 2025, two Army women delivered a powerful and informative presentation at the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) to raise awareness about the risks associated with fentanyl and strategies for prevention.

This January, during the Clerc Classic, the High School and Career & Technical Education (CTE) administration team at Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) will proudly host the Principal's Roundtable. This prestigious event brings together nearly 20 Deaf schools and programs nationwide.
