After many years, what has been known as the Educational Resource Center on Deafness (ERCOD) at Texas School for the Deaf (TSD), announces an exciting change. Rolling out a new name and new logo, ERCOD is now the Statewide Outreach Center (SOC) at TSD.

Deaf Awareness Week is celebrated annually during the last full week of September to increase public awareness about deaf issues, people and culture.

In a congratulatory video message to the TSD Rangers football team, Manning announced TSD would receive a grant from Riddell for new sports safety equipment, including head protection.
